Quality Assurance

We stake our reputation on a commitment to quality. To monitor and ensure the delivery of quality projects, we customize our quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards for the individual needs of each project.Intenerge appoints a designated QA/QC manager who implements these standards in three phases:

• Preconstruction: Get it Right the First Time
• Construction: Inspection and Reporting
• Project Closeout: System Performance

We know how important it is to use healthcare construction requirements to deliver quality projects, so we created and implemented our own set of standards. Every Intenerge employee who works on a healthcare-related job must complete theIntenerge Healthcare Certification Program (HHCP). The program covers:

• Safety issues specific to healthcare construction
• Critical importance of a comprehensive communications plan
• Healthcare construction codes, standards, regulations and required documentation

Quality management is an essential feature of everyIntenerge project. That's why we created an original, comprehensive QA program to ensure that every aspect of a project meets or rigorous standards and exceeds our clients' expectations. TheIntenerge QA program includes:

• Planning: Identify the project quality standards
• Assurance: Implement policies and systems to monitor and satisfy project quality standards
• Control: Perform inspections to analyze the work and job performance, and identify areas lacking in quality or efficiency
• Improvement: Engage procedures for corrective action if needed

Harris has maintained a Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) program since 2001 — and remains one of the few mechanical companies in North America to do so — and we are a national leader recognized for our NQA-1 work in the HVAC industry.

Our Nuclear Quality Assurance program is built upon:

• NQA-1 (Nuclear Quality Assurance) — the international regulatory standard created and maintained by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
• ANSI N45.2 — Quality assurance program requirements for nuclear facilities.
• 10CFR50, App. B — Quality assurance criteria for nuclear power plants and fuel reprocessing plants.
• 10CFR Part 21 — Reporting of defects and noncompliance.
